Defense of Human Rights

The Black Coalition of Quebec is the only organization that provides a Human Rights service on a daily basis to the members of the Black and cultural communities.

It receives complaints from members of the Black and cultural communities who have problems of racism, discrimination, racial profiling in employment, police, housing, education (schools), DPJ (Direction de la Protection de la Jeunesse) etc.

After analysis of complaints, some are referred to the Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission, the Police Ethics Commission, the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail or other institutions. Others receive legal advice or are referred to lawyers.

The Black Coalition of Quebec helps you to defend your rights and to obtain justice. You are victims, deposit a complaint and we will help you.
