Remembrance of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and its Abolition 2023

In commemoration of the International Day for the Remembrance of the Transatlantic
Slave Trade and its Abolition, the Black Coalition of Quebec is organizing a week of
activities according to the following schedule:

• Wednesday August 16, 2023: Conference on the theme: Understand the History of the Slave
  Trade and Its Abolition. Participate via this link Zoom: Conference link
• From August 16 to 23 rd: 2023: Virtual exhibition of Black community figures on social media.
  Watch videos to learn about the contributions of the black community to the development of
  society.
• Wednesday August 23, 2023, at 5 p.m.: Reflection on the Black slavery and reception at City Hall of Montreal
